Declaring the truth and responding to the inquiries others will make when you are wearing the truth is an honor. Since we started Seize Eternity Christian Clothing, I get excited just thinking of the people that will ask me to take a closer look at what I’m wearing or who might inquire about the meaning behind it. Even Christians. We can become sluggish and carnal in our walk, and so this message is for both believers and unbelievers alike.

There are no new ideas under the sun and I surely will not take credit for this marvelous truth. But I am absolutely going to take the opportunity to declare it…using Christian clothing.

The people express their likes and dislikes in their forums as to what they like most and what needs to be changed keeping in mind the latest trends in t-shirts.

Today’s world of fashion is something more than the evening outfits of women. The streetwear type of clothing advocates the sense of freedom. T-shirts are also the supporters of the sense of freedom and independence in the garment industry and continue to inspire the youth of today. As the t-shirts have become popular among the young generation of the world, the t-shirt designers are earning good amount out of their t-shirt designs and brands. According to Webster’s Dictionary, evangelism is “a preaching of or zealous effort to spread the gospel.” Christian clothing takes the boldness to a new level. The “zealous” preaching is printed, implied, or visually displayed on the shirts, hats, or other Christian apparel.

According to Family Christian Stores, Christian retail is a $4.3 billion industry. With the emergence of Christian clothing lines to suit styles from urban to designer, Christian consumers are being outfitted to match their convictions.

Some companies have chosen to mimic popular brands or slogans by tweaking them with a Christian theme.  There are Christian clothing retail stores online and in local malls.  Though there are no new ideas under the sun, according to the book of Ecclesiastes, new Christian t-shirts seem to attract a sure buzz on t-shirt forums and in church bookstores, how much more when you see one walking down the street.

With the fast pace of people’s lives and the entertainment industry vying for our attention, Christians are able to keep up by becoming a walking billboard for Christ. When was the last time you didn’t take that moment to read the bumper sticker on the car in front of you? Bold statements have moved up a notch, from the bumper of a car to the shirt on someone’s back. It’s advertising space when you really think about it.  And what better to advertise for than the King of Kings and the forgiveness of sins.

Walking in the Spirit and living a life that reflects the nature and love of Christ is the true calling. Wearing Christian clothing as part of our desire to share Jesus, wow, what a treat!

What makes me wear a Christian t-shirt?

1.  For me to live is Christ, so I believe even my clothing can and should reflect that to others. Not only by dressing modestly, but also by bolding proclaiming who I am and whose I am.

2. Christian clothing gives me a chance to show what’s on the inside, which is what counts anyway.

3.  When it comes to selection, I choose Christian shirts that make people want to question me about them.  They are not neccessarily bold messages, but can be. Like the logo shirt from Seize Eternity for example. It makes people think and they might even strike up a conversation about what it means.

Like an athlete, I want to make sure those I encounter know what team I am on.

It’s the antithesis of carpe diem, or “seize the day.” This company is calling people to go beyond one single day and to grab hold of eternity. This is powerful folks! As the company slogan encourages, “Don’t settle for just one day!”

Eternity is found in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, whom God sent to earth to die on the cross as a payment for the sins of all mankind. That’s you and that’s me. The punishment for breaking even one of God’s commandments is death.  But the gift of God is everlasting life to those who believe in Jesus. Eternity is yours, believe it, confess it, grab a hold it and live for it!

The most recent trend in Christian clothing is Seize Eternity Christian Clothing. Seize Eternity is the name of the company and the message. It is the next WWJD. “Seize eternity” means to grab a hold of that which lasts forever. Number one being salvation in Jesus. And secondly, live for what matters for eternity.  It is letting go of the world and its hold on you to trust in and live for Christ.

The thing that makes this company different is that they do not encourage the consumer to share the message of the Gospel UNLESS a person asks about the sketch on their shirt. Their position was that one should pray for “divine appointments” you could say and then speak about it when asked so as to not give out precious pearls haphazardly.

I do not have an opinion on the method, any preaching of the Gospel with the motive of bringing lost souls into the kingdom is right on in my book. God is faithful and it is He who draws men to Himself after all. I surely want to respond in faithfuless by being prepared in every season to share the hope that I have with others, whether they ask me or not.
