Modest Christian Clothing, On the Market?

You might not think such a thing exists if you go into your closest mall or typical department store. Well, that’s not exactly true. Modest usually means frumpy and they sell frumpy…but who wants to shop in that department!
I stumbled upon a niche market online which has truly peaked my interest – Modest Christian Clothing. As a Christian woman in my mid-thirties, I find it more and more difficult to find clothes that are not cut too low or too short. I would like to put on clothes that fit right AND look nice. Usually, I sacrifice one for the other.
The “Modest Tee” is one of my favorites. It is a slim fitting t-shirt that snaps to keep it from coming untucked, and it comes up high enough to keep everything covered. Nice!
Another cool find is called Vintage Hem. They offer slips that are made to show from under your skirt. The idea is to extend your skirt or dress’s length for modesty, while also being a fun accessory! I’m in!
There are even opportunities to become independent modest clothing fashion consultants. Check out Modbe – which stands for “Modern is as modest be.”
Modest Christian clothing as a market is new to me. It may not be new to all of you, but it is refreshing!
